You can't set the default view to the light-flashing screen, a popup is misspelled as, "Dont't rate," and, most critically, it has a Bluetooth connection bug that causes it to play a second metronome beat simultaneously over itself which can only be ceased by force-quitting the app. With that said, it is nice how you can customize the beat sound quite a bit.

Hi Joshua! thanks for your review and your feedback. I haven't heard about the bluetooth problem yet, but I'll try to investigate in fix the issue.

Has all the features I'm looking for: tap tempo, continues to play when I switch to another app or lock my phone, configurable or random silent bars for tempo training, configurable subdivisions and sounds. All without ads. Other apps are charging of much as five dollars a month for similar features, and they don't usually include them everything. After trying loads of others, I'm going to pay for the SE version, just to thank the developer for bringing my search to an end!

When I'm away from my Dr. Beat hardware metronome this is my favorite metronome app. It has some excellent features for setting up different time signatures & accents. It's great for warm ups, practicing and teaching. It comes in handy when connected to a Bluetooth speaker to help students hear the time better. I wish there was some sort of mode to prioritize it on my device's CPU cycles though. It sometimes skips a bit after initially connecting to Bluetooth but eventually stabilizes.
